“In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18
(Note: This Post was from 2019. Obviously, today is not Thanksgiving in 2020, nor may it be in the future. Just something to keep in mind as you read my Posts!) This was actually in my Bible reading today, and as you know, today is Thanksgiving Day. So some thoughts on both.
Though ALL the Bible is God’s Rule for our lives, here we have a Clear and Emphatic Dictate of what “the will of the Lord” is. “In EVERYTHING Give Thanks”!!! If we believe that God is truly Sovereign over all things, then how can we not Thank Him, the Father of all Goodness and Love, for whatever He brings our way? Whether Good or Bad? We can and we must! May God open our hearts to see this Great God in control of ALL THINGS, and may you truly have a Very Happy Thanksgiving!
