“Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”” 1 Corinthians 15:33
This warning comes to Corinth as Paul deals with those that held a wrong view of the Resurrection. It also comes to us as we deal with an ungodly and wicked Culture. Paul has warned us in Romans, “do not be conformed to this world” and called “this world” in Galatians, “this present evil age”. John has told us in his 1st letter “Do not love the world nor the things in the world.” Is it any wonder then why this Truism is True? We think ourselves so wise when we feel we are exempt somehow. Our thoughts instead are, “Good company improves bad morals”. Not True! The opposite is true. May we start Believing God’s Word and living accordingly instead of always being the Exception!
