Who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” Isaiah 53:1
This is how one of the most important Chapters in the Bible begins; with a Question. From here until the end, it describes the “Suffering Servant”. It is absolutely staggering for the details it contains of Christ and how He would suffer; all written some 700 years before He was born. If you have never read it, please do so today!
Now, the Question, “Who has believed our message?” The Answer? Many initially; Multitudes we’re told. But soon, they would depart because they heard some “Hard Things”. The 12 stayed with Him until the end (except Judas), and about 120 out of thousands earlier. Jesus said “the Gate is Small”, the “Way is Narrow”, and “there are few who find it”. One more Question!
