“Open your mouth for the mute,” Proverbs 31:8a
As a young Christian, today’s Verse, coupled with Proverbs 24:11a, “Deliver those who are being taken away to death”, were used by God to open my eyes to the Evil of Abortion. In light of the Social Justice Climate we are in, was there ever a more pertinent Cause to rally for, than “speaking up” for the Unborn? If we truly believe Abortion is Murder, then the 23 Million Babies that have been aborted this year need a Voice!
Add to this the Horrific World of the Child Sex Trade going on now in our Nation, right under our noses! Again, a “muted voice” that certainly needs God’s People “speaking out” on behalf of!
Lastly, consider the Millions that will die today and end up in Hell for Eternity and need “our mouth” sharing the Gospel. May God give us Wisdom as we appropriate our time for Causes, and for Justice!
