“May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?” Romans 6:2
As the Apostle Paul argues the principles of the Gospel, he asks the question in Verse 1, “Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase?” His answer is both emphatic and conclusive; “May it never be!” In the King James it reads, “God Forbid!” Then he asks a question that only has one answer, “How shall we who died to sin still live in it?” We Can’t!!! This is not to say that the True Christian never sins! He Does! It is saying that Sin will no longer Reign, no longer be the Master, no longer be the dominating force in his life. If it is, the answer is simple, “You Are Not A Christian”!
